Gabrielle turns 9 months old

I can't believe it's been 9 months since Gabrielle was born. Every day, I'm amazed at how much and how fast she's grown.

Gabrielle turned 9 months old yesterday. This past Monday, she had a checkup. As we expected, she's continuing to grow at a steady rate and all is well from a health perspective. She weighed in at 19 lbs and 9 oz (50th - 75th percentile), and she's 28.5 " long (75th - 90th percentile).
She's starting to get familiar with the doctor's office. As soon as walked in the room and laid her on the examining bed, she started to cry...our guess is that she immediately thought she was going to get pricked (since it was only 2 weeks prior that she was in the doc's room to get her flu shot). However, no shots were in order at this checkup. Doc just ran through the basic physical check, so Gabrielle thought he was playing, which put her in a good mood through the rest of appointment! Yay for our happy and healthy 9 month old, Gabrielle!

"Hi, people! I'm just getting up and ready to start my day! And yes, that's TWO teeth you see!"

"Oooh, what's in here? Oh! My cousin's clothes that she let me borrow! Thank you, Cousin Isabel!"

"Peek-a-boo!"

Future Trojan, perhaps? Fight on!

Looks like she's got the over-the-shoulder pose down pact!
