Our Trip to Southern California (Part 1 of 3)

Roy had a business trip planned in Pomona, CA, so of course, Gabrielle and I joined him! I got to visit with friends, and Gabrielle got to meet her Mommy's friends for the first time. We arrived on Thursday, 3/18, afternoon, and started our vacation off slowly and relaxing.

Friday, Gabrielle and I hung out in our hotel room at the Sheraton Suites Fairplex while Daddy worked. We had a fun time playing in her travel tent and tumbling about on the king size super comfy bed.
On Saturday, it was go, go, go! We kicked off our day early, so Gabrielle could eat and get dressed before our first appointment, which was at 10:15 a.m.

Then we met our friend, Loretta, for brunch at a dumpling house in Arcadia, about 20 miles northwest of Pomona. After brunch, we drove back to Pomona, where we met our friends, Christina, Christina's 4 month old daughter, Priscilla, Stephen, and his newly adopted pet roll (you'll see what I mean when you see below) for lunch at a cool Cuban restaurant that sits on a hilltop, overlooking the San Gabriel mountains.
After lunch, it was time for Gabrielle's nap (and in all honesty, for Mommy to nap too!), so we headed back to the hotel and rested for our big night. For more details on our big night, see next post.
